Ministry of Higher Education of Oman receives EFQM Committed to Excellence Certificate! First in Oman!

June 2017: The Ministry of Higher Education of Oman has received the recognition „Committed to Excellence“ from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) . The Ministry of Higher Education is the very first organization in Oman who has received this international recognition for starting their Striving for Excellence.

The Ministry of Higher Education was conducting the EFQM Self-Assessments, the Excellence Trainings as well as several successful Excellence projects under the guidance of Dr. Karl J. Koller, international Excellence expert and EFQM advisor/trainer from the Institute for Total Quality Management (ITQM), Zurich, Switzerland. ITQM has supported in the GCC countries over the last decade many organizations in developping their organizations successfully towards Excellence.

Successfully attending the EFQM Training has helped me not only to realize the significance of change but to understand the importance of doing it right.
